About Lady Grace

Lady Grace, a.k.a. Grace Truvant, is the headmistress and founder of the Lady Grace Academy. After spending years as a writer and editor, Grace saw her first burlesque show in New Orleans and fell in love with this unique art.

In addition to traveling the country to learn from the best teachers in the business, Grace has performed on stages across Texas in shows, festivals and private appearances. She and her academy have been featured in newspapers, magazines and on television.

Grace founded the academy in 2009 so that she could bring the exciting world of burlesque and feminine movement to the women of Houston. Since then, she’s happily taught hundreds of women to move with confidence and sass, whether it’s on the burlesque stage or in the frozen foods aisle at the grocery store.
